Some common signs of anxiety are; fear, nervousness, shyness, being tearful, not sleeping, and being sick often. More severe forms of anxiety are: generalised anxiety disorder, self harm, eating disorders, OCD, selective mutism, separation anxiety, social anxiety etc.

Being a parent is a wonderful gift, however we understand being a parent can be tough sometimes. You may spend many days and sleepless nights, feeling anxious whilst dealing with your child’s tantrums, tensions and tears and not knowing how to cope or deal with them.

Some of the areas we can help with are:

CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT

Development is the attainment of skills in all aspects of a child’s life. There is a lot of emphasis today on a child being academically successful, but a well- rounded child is one that has developed physically, socially, morally, emotionally and intellectually.

Here are some of the ways we can help your child’s development:

Social and emotional development
• Developing healthy relationships
• Strong self worth
• Listening skills
• Building resilience

Intellectual development
• Focus, Concentration and Memory
• Communication: verbal and non-verbal
• Taking responsibility and ownership

Moral development
• Learning right from wrong

Physical development
• Movement and play is a key skill required for learning. If some of the basic movements as a child are missed this can affect learning
• Neurodevelopment movement is beneficial for all ages and skill levels and are very effective for reflex integration

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS

Healthy relationships impact us both physically and mentally. They give us a positive sense of well being, be it as partners, married couples children or young adults, be it at work with colleagues, at school with friends or at home with family. There is compelling evidence that strong relationships contribute to a long, healthy, and happy life.

We can help to:

• Improve existing relationships
• Improve communication
• Avoid arguments and manage differences
• Attract the right partner
• Manage anger and frustrations

Tony Robbins

“The secret of success is learning how to use pain and pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you. If you do that, you’re in control of your life. If you don’t, life controls you.”
